Sample Daily Schedule
8:30am Drop off
Teachers will meet the group to hike the 5 minutes up to our beautiful mountain lodge
8:40-9am Circle Time
All ages come together for morning meeting where we will stretch, practice mindfulness exercises and discuss our day’s goals and intentions. This will take place outside on the patio with the creek in the background as weather allows, or under the historic beams of the lodge’s open floor plan.
While minds are fresh students will spend an hour in an integrated approach to science, art/creativity, writing, mathematics, reading through student-centered interests and teacher guidance.
10am: a healthy snack to keep the mind engaged and body fueled for learning
An array of activities, experiments, and indoor and outdoor learning to foster creativity, exploration and ingenuity.
11:30-12:30 Group Lunch
A time where all ages come together for family-style dining. We focus on hygiene, meal preparation, manners, and healthy lifestyles. The children will work together to set the table, clean up and discuss healthy choices around food.
12:30-1:30 Quiet Time and Reading
A time for youngsters to have stories read to them, and a time for the older students to work on reading, story-telling, reading comprehension, and journal writing.

After a good meal and time to rest and recuperate, it’s time to head back outside. Depending on the lesson, it will have the backdrop of nature.
